Don’t suppose DBH will try to fill the gaps with something else’s last minute will they ?
Whilst some F-16E/F's would be a great replacement, unfortunately anything that could have replaced them would have already been invented and declined.

Swedish HF? 🤔

That is a good point tbh, wasn’t there also some mention of the D-Day Squadron making an appearance, but I don’t see them on the list ?

Unfortunately they've all gone home/onward.

I wonder if Night Fright will be ready by next year... :pop:

Is the Invader still 'in country'? although a war bird of an older era it would look superb on Static (filling a little gap)
Yes, though oddly hasn't flown from Duxford since the day after it went to Fairford in June
It's having maintenance done at Duxford
Cheers

Swedish HF? 🤔
There haven't been any F-16E or F-16Fs built. The designation might have been banded about for the UAE AF Desert Falcons, but has never been used officially.

Two of the 125FS 'OK' F16's currently at Lask in Poland would be a great replacement!

Still at least 18 (not including any spares for the display F-16's) call it 20.

It's a great turnout still, with Romanian, Jordanian and Moroccan ones still due to attend.

It is great, but still, ouch.

And probably not the end of it!

DBH not having the best of luck the last few years.

The RJAF F-16’s are still sat at Souda, along with the C-130 which I believe was meant to fly Amman-Bari but divert into Souda this morning . Both F-16’s a A and a B from what I could see were in standard colours but the angle wasn’t good. The canopy on the B was up all the time(5hrs), I was in the area(along with the diverting C-130?), I think it’s gone tech. Hopefully am wrong or they get it fixed soon.

From the colours as it flew over Winchester, it looked like this one (357):

Just in case everyone has forgotten.....

There's a full scale war on in Europe, seems like some people expect air forces to drop everything and focus on a little show in England.

F-16 are used as active jets, who would have thought it

Not sure where anyone has said that?

FM Makos have cancelled - they aren't involved with Ukraine.

The Polish AF have completely cancelled - Due to their tragic accident recently and not with Ukraine.

Portugese have cancelled - Track record of being flakey (Going by other comments).

Some are saying it is a shame (Which it is) but nobody is berating it.

RJAF346 was the C-130 that was meant to have gone into Bari this morning, so the one at Souda which is in Sand/Brown/Green standard scheme is obviously not it. I’m fairly sure that the C-130 didn’t arrive with the F-16’s and was not reported as being there as of 1900 last night??
