Which forecast you looking at?

As the one I’m looking at shows temperatures up to 25 and no rain for the whole six days.

The forecasts are never accurate! Don't read in to them too much, what will be, will be

Seems we are getting all four Qatari F15QA's

https://euro-sd.com/2024/07/major-news/ ... rnborough/
Well RIAT doesn't have them down as showing on static, but it would be nice.

It seems too they only fly 1 version a day, i.e. 1 fully armed, the next clean config etc. Shame we couldn't get both each day
The press release does not say static at Fairford it just says static , so could be at Farnborough which would make more sense as they try to sell these to Poland and Saudi Arabia

Would be nice to have it at Fairford of course but my guess is as stated
the spare could sit at Mildenhall or Lakenheath, again nothing I read says it will be at either show venue
time will tell

Not sure on the source but apparently the Polish F-16s have also cancelled.

That was almost inevitable following the weekends tragic accident.

That's now 24% of the F-16 static line gone in just over a day.

Don’t suppose DBH will try to fill the gaps with something else’s last minute will they ?

Still a pretty impressive line up though!

Is the Invader still 'in country'? although a war bird of an older era it would look superb on Static (filling a little gap)

Whilst some F-16E/F's would be a great replacement, unfortunately anything that could have replaced them would have already been invented and declined.

Swedish HF? 🤔

Yes, though oddly hasn't flown from Duxford since the day after it went to Fairford in June
