Ref was good. We didn’t put any tries on the board with our territorial dominance.

I would imagine the verbals went both ways, especially with the angel Marler on the field :Wow:
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Great game to watch, thoroughly deserved to be such a tight game.
Just hope Farrell can remember the last word of the last line of the National Anthem against Argentina... 😖

Apparently he called Curry a "White CU next Tuesday"

What a charmer but I assume if he had dropped the white then it will have been ok :D

As far as I am concerned the final with two southern hemisphere teams is boring :P

I will watch it but I won't care who wins

Super Saturday has turned into sh#t Saturday :D
What a fine example of Mod!

An unfortunate loss and not inspiring rugby from either side. The final should be more entertaining.
Not inspiring? What exactly were you expecting? 10 tries each half and the Messiah coming on to pass judgement!

Why should the final be more exciting?

I wrote “entertaining”, not exciting. The final could be entertaining for those who enjoy a game exhibiting the finer points of rugby union. As each team has a different style of playing it should demonstrate many aspects of the skills of the players.
I expect the winning side to be the one that causes the other side to be given a red card 😉

For those of you with further interest in “entertaining rugby” and can access Sky, look up the final of the NPC between Hawke’s Bay and Taranaki played last week. As someone too long in the tooth to be excited, it certainly was very entertaining.

Argentina v. England. A close game with England winning by a small margin if the coach selects the best combination of players on the field at the same time.

Remember rule one and post accordingly 😉

Here they go again

I am watching in renaissance hotel Heathrow with a runway view - planes beer and rugby bliss

Let's hope for an entertaining game apparently.

The red card has killed it as a spectacle for me. Switched off.

Disallowed try but why can’t English soccer get this quality of refereeing?

South Africa Champions again

Wayne Barnes was superb I thought

Can't be many locals in the Stade de France as there was no booing heard when Macron came to the podium to give out the medals!

Good game - didn't know who was going to win until South Africa did

Bit of an ugly game but quite tense towards the last quarter, Springboks defended well.
Here's to next World cup, come on Northern Hemisphere teams..

Eddie Jones has quit ( before he was pushed) as Australia coach with a typical forthright quote that I shan't repeat here in case I get pinged again by the puritans :)

He's back here coaching the Barbarians apparently, yes the quote was 'interesting'... ;)
