Running props exposed. England were great but Saffers deserved it.

By that I mean M Vunipola may not have given away three decisive penalties.

England were far better for the majority of game but that is live sport

The English replacement props were exposed and it took a superb SA penalty to grab the lead with 2 minutes to go

Could have gone either way but before the match many people had given England no chance so perhaps the cynics were right!

Btw I hope SA stuff the All Blacks

That’s England’s World Cup bubble burst.

Gutting to lose by 1 point!! Hard luck guys.

So a Southern Hemisphere final , how boring 😳

Scrum time is still v important. We didn’t capitalise on our advantage. Played in games similarly, not at this level of course.
England did so much more than expected. Borthwick has done really well and that, hopefully will develop in the 6 Nations.

As far as I am concerned the final with two southern hemisphere teams is boring :P

I will watch it but I won't care who wins

Super Saturday has turned into sh#t Saturday :D

What a fine example of Mod!

An unfortunate loss and not inspiring rugby from either side. The final should be more entertaining.

Yes it’s nice to watch a match where you don’t give a toss who wins, it’s easier on the old blood pressure! 🤣

Not inspiring? What exactly were you expecting? 10 tries each half and the Messiah coming on to pass judgement!

Why should the final be more exciting?

South Africa 16 - England (Owen Farrell) 15

Says it all. Farrell played a Captain's game and he proved why he is the Captain! The Springboks should pay their respects to their guardian angel, or whatever deity, and consider themselves lucky.

We were robbed! :grr: :( :D

Then coming Friday against the Argies for third place play-off ...

The Springboks guardian angel was Ben O'Keeffe !

Many would say the Kiwi referee was their fairy godmother for a second time after the French encounter

Anyway it's only sport move on and South Africa are a proven world class team and I hope they retain the title.
