Great view of the jets at Hohn from Garlbek crashgate, the farmer has advertised the field open tomorrow morning aswell (Nice one slogen)

Had a scout around Jagel but im still a bit uncertain on were to go, which runway is used at Jagel? The longer 05/23 or shorter 07/25?

Probably will be 05 Monday morning ( at Schleswig - Jagel)

After a glass or two I can't see us being up early enough to find a space in time to get a taxi or approach shot at 05 so will probably hope one of two departures stay low á la 24 at egul.

Bit of a blow on the W-R front - the MiG-23 at Twist has gone ( into a nearby building?) we did see the MiG-21UM at the opposite end.

At Kropp near Schleswig we saw the not required tornado but couldn't see the F-104G on the gate and the polite security said they were too busy to escort us on short walk around the corner - they were busy and even I could see that - I don't have the knack of sweet talking German soldiers.

Aaaagh nice one, I had no idea about the Tornado at Kropp, I'll check that out tomorrow.

Just a heads up to anybody coming down through Denmark, I stopped off at Skydstrup on the way, started snapping away and was quickly met by Base security who asked me to delete my photos. Apparantly anything in the air is OK but anything on base is not permittable. My own naivety really as I didn't do any research before hand and just presumed it would be ok like in the UK and Germany.

The Tornado at Kropp is in special marks behind the main gate - easy to see from the left hand side.of the gate but the Star Fighter must be obscured by trees

The human gate guardians were of course friendly but reasonably enough I suppose would not allow me on to military property to see the F-104G .

07:40Z/09:40L very quiet at Schleswig, a few canopies up

A security type person inside the fence said base flying at 11am and Defender flying starts at 4pm - although I suspect something was lost in translation

From scramble spot 1 you can see all the Air Guard F-16 and A-10 plus the three Turkish F-16. Can't see the Gripens and I need one.

I was told by a German local that it would be a 4pm start aswell but it now looks like the South Dakota Vipers are running so we shall see.
