Credit DC hope he doesn't mind me posting but I believe the three AV HH-60 due in Lakenheath on Friday is a gas and go to Leeming for cobra warrior
Fair point - the AV HH-60 rumours have been doing the rounds since Monday - I heard when I was at Duxford but I didn't know they were heading to Leeming. Hopefully it is not too much of an indiscretion to say they are going 150 miles up the road to Leeming. Generally I am careful not to repost conversations at the fence or I may say "do you mind if I put that on FC" . I am sure we all hear lots of stuff on the grapevine and at the fence which seems to be a characteristic of mil spotting, that cant be posted on a public website for obvious reasons.

Lifter1 Chinook went South over Coningsby to Sculthorpe, presumably to pick up the paratroopers which jumped out of Grizzly A400m

Lifter1 now heading back North through the Cranwell/Coningsby gap towards leeming

Good Evening,
Just a quick thank-you for all of the Exercise reports so far.
Noted earlier today (24th.) in the Leeming/Catterick Garrison area early afternoon was Apache displaying on adsb as ZJ189 as 'Hydra' 1 or 2, csn't remember which now (sometimes only one a/c transmits when operating as a pair)
From an earlier post there could/should be four Apache for the Ex, Viper 1/2 as already identified plus the Hydra pair
For the three Chinooks in the Exercise ZK553 and ZK559 are identified but would anyone be able to offer the identity of the third one please ?
Thanks and regards,
Paul
