That's very kind of you.

Of course, it's happened for years and will continue to happen! I still don't understand why it gets peoples backs up so much though, yes it's strange thing to do but there may be a valid reason they're saying it was a 'right place, right time' kind of thing.

Gareth just gave a heads up that the Danes were departing that's all, no secret information or prior set-up!

It wasn't a direct comment to you, it was just a comment on the general view that you often see on SM etc :-)

"MFTA" , C'mon boyz. Just put Wales behind the acronym to avoid Googling the Moroccan Free Trade Agreement & you get 'Mountain Flying Training Area' in Snowdonia. :thumb:
Outsiders at Valley? :S They were still on the scanner so there was no point in leaving whilst they were still around. SPTA doesn’t get spelt out and MFTA is used in its abbreviatied form on here too but as you say. Location wise it was in and around the Tryfan area.
No offence either way. I personally don't have a problem with acronyms. In truth I didn't know 'MFTA'. My point to enquirers was to do what I did. Danish Merlins are at RAF Valley. ;) Google 'MFTA Wales' There you have it! :thumb:
Credit to you for narrowing it down to Tryfan area, match the terrain & features to the shots & the location is Llyn ??? :ninja: Sorry chaps, you're gonna have to do some of your own work to get shots like those posted :D

Yes! It’s taken many miles of walking, map reading and internet research to find such locations!
