Eagle Strike.
Eagle Strike.
Are there any Helis in at Leeming for this. Heard they may be based there, and haven't had a chance to check out Otterburn yet.

Chinooks ZH776 and ZH892, Wildcats XX407 and ZZ386(?), have been active there today.
Re: Eagle Strike.
Thanks Duke. (Think that should be ZZ407 though
)

Re: Eagle Strike.
Indeed it should have been! Both Chinooks flew again today. One Wildcat departed 0930, and shortly after when I turned up at the waving bay there were two visible, the one I could read off being ZZ393. A non-FC post said one had gone towards Leeming early morning, so that was likely 393. I checked the place again at 1530 and the two from the morning looked not to have moved, and the other had apparently not returned. The Chinooks seem to be using the pan by the old tower, and the Wildcats are in the Northern HAS site, which made reading off difficult.
Re: Eagle Strike.
Duke, have you any idea of where they were going to/from? I'm hoping to catch them if they are coming up the Northumbria/Cumbria way.

Re: Eagle Strike.
ZZ403 was on plane plotter heading for Leeming this morning. ZZ386 came down from Leeming to work on Donna Nook, I saw it land
at Humberside airport for a refuel at 1220pm. So I assume there are 4 at Leeming ZZ386/393/403/407. Hope this helps someone.
Regards Keith.

Re: Eagle Strike.
ZH894 was on ADSB this morning coming up from the south as SHF447. It has shown this afternoon as ULT2 with ZH776 as ULT1, when a two-ship went past my house! Not yet confirmed if 894 is an extra or a swap for 892.
Re: Eagle Strike.
Looks like Wildcat ZZ408 is heading for Leeming calling Marine 14.
Re: Eagle Strike.
are these relies coming to attack leuchars Tues I beleive
Re: Eagle Strike.
Looks like ZZ393 'VANGRD 63' and ZZ403 'VALINT 62' rtb Yeovilton this morning, plotting on ADSB as far as Gloucester. ZZ408 is active near Malton as Marine 13.

Re: Eagle Strike.
3 Wildcats overflew Buxton, Derbyshire yesterday morning at 0910, heading broadly South-West, ZZ393 and 403 were 2 of them on PP apparently, with the 3rd being suggested as ZZ407?
