ZA613 /075 departed south from Lossiemouth today as TARNISH 20, I assume to Marham as G-MHAR was with her

ZA606 /069 has arrived back today (9/12-2013) as Ascot 9631 with a second jet which isn't showing at the moment

Second jet was ZD747 / 095. Arriving back from that sandy place out East I believe.

ZA447 / 019, ZD707 / 077 and ZD843 / 106 all departed on 04/12/13 presumably replacements for the jets that returned today?

026/ZA461 as Lossie 27 - not sure if this went to Marham or has diverted somewhere. It departed mid morning and hadn't returned by 1830.

The rumour mill / jungle drums are saying to Tornados numbers are going to be slashed in the new year / from next year Would explain the hangar queens getting airborne and relocation of jets.

Well its fairly likely they will have a cull as we will only have 3 operational Squadrons after April, And that sadly means Lossie will be an awful lot quieter

I seem to recall to maintain the fleet for any ops like finishing off in Afghanistan, and anything else you need to have at least 80+ within the fleet, I just hope the Mighty Fin survives till 2019.....

How we had it explained there will be less squadron but they remaining squadrons will be larger. With a large amouth of 12(B) & 617 crews being absorbed into the II(AC), IX(B), 31.Squadrons should be the biggest (both people and aircraft) they've been in peace time.
