I don't like the sound of that gixrgill and gary, sounds as if someone has knowledge of something we don't know yet.....All I'm saying. Interesting about the added TriStar and the Transport Flypast being removed as well.

A mate over at Leuchars said he saw an F.3 do what appeared to be a practise display yesterday, early evening?

I wish he'd let me know as I was in the area but far enough away not to be aware!

Anyone else confirm?

Will they be marked up in sqn colours by then I wonder?
Hope they are marked up. Rumours i've seen around the web suggests they will be marked up at Leuchars during the airshow week.....

A little teaser from the 6Sqn association http://www.sixsqnassociation.org.uk/page2.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The Standard will, however, be marched past the Chief of Air Staff, ACM Sir Stephen Dalton, during the RAF Leuchars Air Day on the 11th September. Members of the public will be there for that event in large numbers and 6 Sqn association members will be welcome at the Veterans enclosure.
Wg Cdr Roddy Dennis informs us that this will be the first opportunity to see 6 squadron aircraft in their official colour scheme.

Living in Scotland I'll take what I can get and attend pretty much any year but I rarely even bother looking at the line up prior to the show as I could have a darn good guess at it in advance.

It's the same with most airshows nowadays in the UK. The interesting stuff which visit most of the larger European shows seem to "halt" at the English Channel.
With all the interesting things now being mothballed, most airforces now have the same type of aircraft.

Strange there is only on USAF aircraft listed so far. Possibly a final update to come?

How many USAF participates does Leuchars normally get? I know last year it was a B-52,KC-135 and two F-15C

They are getting their markings the week prior to the airshow. 6 sqn officially stand up on Sept 6th, and that is the date they will be applied at Cby.

this is what you will get
