) & the energy Crisis of the early 1970's. There is good evidence that BST. is better for health & mental outlook reasons, particularly in child development.
Quite how one resolves having the actual GMT. in the country that is 1 hour forward of that is another hiccup! Allegedly many polls indicate around 60%-vs-40% in favour of permanent change to BST. but the government are not likely not consider a change until around 95% of the entire population call for it. I've got 16 time-based household, car & garage items to manually change in a modest 2-bed property! Whoops....forgot the cameras, make that 18!!
Bearing in mind we haven't had a worthwhile nationwide referendum for some 16 months now, how about it?
