12 A-10 Thunderbolts of the 74FS Flying Tigers arrived on runway 29 at Mildenhall (i will wake up one day)

The conditions were perfect.

Due out very early Saturday morning according to the info on here. As you know east bound stuff can leave really early , 5-6 am.

Sods law though says you get there for five and they go at 10am!

Excellent pics!

I notice that a couple of the birds are carrying underwing travel pods that are still displaying the badge of the 52nd FW from the days of the Spangdahlem 81st FS.

Really nice set. Brings back a lot of memories for someone returning to the hobby after a long layoff !!
