Wednesday and Thursday are the main arrivals days.

Most of the heavies arrive on Wednesday so they have more space to taxi, but it's a cross section of types and teams on both days
to be honest, equally good.

Good luck with the new camera, have a look at the photography tips section for insight into the specifics of photographing aeroplanes
and whatever you do don't buy this month's Photographic magazines suggesting how to shoot aircraft!

Take plenty of memory cards and spare batteries if you can too!

Have a great time.

Droptank.

Spotters jungle drum say's, late Friday for the U-2. No ALTRV posted so far, so could be at least Wednesday for the F-22s

Will anyone know arrivals for Thursday please? I don't mind paying at park and view but will only be there from 1pm onwards will it be worth it?

I'd have thought an ALTRV would have been posted for the F-22s if they were due tomorrow?

The U-2 arrival information recently posted is...um...not accurate. I'm sorry that I can't be more specific, but stay alert from now on.

Anyway, for any U-2 fans who haven't yet bought my book DRAGON LADY TODAY, be advised that I am getting ten copies signed by the crews attending RIAT. They will be available for sale from Friday by The Aviation Bookshop at their stand in the red zone eg adjacent to the eastern static line. First come, first served.

One of the Facebook pages I'm on , one of the members has said his friend is flying the B-52 over for RIAT. He's part of the 96th BS, the post didn't say if it will be a full 96th BS crew or a mixed from all the squadron at Barksdale. So if they don't use Mytee call sign it could be Doom or Havoc. Will ask to see if he know when

ALTRV just posted for the F-22s viewtopic.php?f=139&t=148884&p=915752#p915752

Rough calculation I would say about or after 19.30 arrival

U2 only confirmed on static for Sat / Sun, not shown on programme or app for Fri static. It's all a bit odd unless its arriving late Fri or making a surprise landing / taxi during the 4 hr show on Fri !!
