86-0139 Nose Art & Name

Post by TomG » Sat Jun 17, 2017 11:51 pm

B-1B 86-0139/EL pictured on Thursday morning showing the nose art and name of 'Drifter' which corrects the Quick Info section which shows 'Dakota Queen' as the name.

Is anyone taking any notice of the photo evidence of the nose art on 86-0139? Still being reported as 'Dakota Queen'.

I called it Drifter in my photo thread and in my log.

( guess it's a cut and paste issue in the quick info thread)

According to Google there used to be a Dakota Drifter - which was written off.

I would go with that Mark as the OP has posted an image of it shot last week at Fairford. Lol

This is a picture of 86-0139's nose art in its former guise, courtesy of Bill Inglee, taken in 2006 at Abbotsford
