well i dont have any recent photos to share.. but i do have a few from Akrotiri when i was there a few years ago. iv just downloaded these off teh camera now :lol: think it was about easter time. the reds were still training there everyday anyway. also have a few R1 and U2 pics if im allowed to post them?

That looks a mate of mine sat on the wing of the Red Arrows jet changing the coalescer sock.

Nicely compiled set there, not often you get to see whats happening at Akrotiri :thumb: Would really love to see some shots of Dragon Ops...

Nice shots on the u2 never seen the antenna on the underneath of then they don't have them on when they are at Fairford going down that way :thumbs:

Depends on what configuration they are flying and the mission

Excellent shots of the 'weather balloon' operating 'Olive Harvest'. Wonder which is better to be a passenger in - the Subaru pictured here or the Pontiac GTO 6.0L?

Would be great to see more of the U-2 ops

Great stuff, love the Nimrod close ups and ofcourse the U2 shots! Interesting to see them using an Subaru as a chase car, thanks for posting these :)

When were you there in 06? I was there April-May. Got a handful myself of the Reds and from the Olive Harvest hangars . Fantastic place matched by a top set of shots.:thumbs:

correction it was actually in 07! sorry folk.. was 18th April - 2nd May 2007
