hi all, I'm not sure if or how many official tail spotters there are but if you are & have a tail spotter badge what was yr spotter watch number?
i was 65 so I'm a little curious how many there are.
its keeping a watchful eye around the bases, having extra eyes around helps usaf & uk bases by keeping a look out for suspicious activity & reporting it
for this we can get offered tour of base & is very cool seeing them up close, learned a lot & met some really friendly u.s airmen, many thanks to them
Hi guys I have a question, I don't come from the Lakenheath/ Mildenhall Area but would love to visit is there anyone I should contact if I should visit just in case I am looked at suspiciously as a stranger or approached and asked what I am doing here?
Also is there a national scheme like this for other Airfields in the country as all I want to do is watch Aircraft without rousing locals suspicions?
hi unknown74, you should just turn up like other people do & watch or photograph or video them when they go up & just chat to people who are around, just be friendly like every1 else & yr be fine
