Lightnings striking twice from the other end of Fairford

Far from the madding crowds, there were a few who gambled that the arriving F-35s would run long on the wet runways and having seen both the KC-130 and KC-10 stop in time for the Charlie North taxiway we were all thinking that the gamble had been a very wrong one so were somewhat happy when all arrivals used either Alpha or Bravo to vacate the runway

The F-35B arrival on 29th June

It was wet, dark and the sun, as we all now know, came out about 5 minutes after touchdown to provide lots of rainbow images!
