The newer gold border 351st ARS heritage patch is not the Commander's patch. Tanker and Airlift squadrons rarely do a commander's patch. It is just the new batch of the heritage patch. Apparently its closer to what the original design was. I bought mine from the snackos at the patch meet and that is what they said. As for Cosford there were not many patches to be had but I did manage to get the new Dutch C130 patches, some of the Belgian A109 patches, the centenary 45 Sqn Raf diamond patch, and a few others but not much. RIAT will definitely be better!

Epic haul mate  gutted I didn't make it to Florennes. How much were the patches at Florennes? I like the Dutch Chinook patches but at RIAT and Waddington :( they used to sell them for £10 each :'(

Cheers! As I said there were so many for sale, never seen so much! It seemed virtually every squadron attending had loads to sell!

The Dutch patches were 10 euros each  ...but I thought hay-ho, get 'em why I can!!!....they gave me one for free as I was such a good customer

Roll-on on RIAT!!!!!

Nice haul from Florennes. I am hoping to get the Ramex Delta patches and the 350 Sqn heritage patch at RIAT. I heard the Ramex Delta patches were 15-25 euros each depending on which one. And I have heard about the prices at Florennes and judging on what I saw last year at RIAT and this year at Cosford if patches were 10 Euros over there they will be 10£ over here. It truly is getting out of hand these days. This hobby is getting a lot less fun and more expensive but I'm not giving up yet. I will post my pics from the haul at Cosford but as I said before there wasn't much on offer.

Yes the Ramex patches in my photo were 15 euros each :O , very steep considering their size, they had a lot more really nice ones but at those prices...

:( As Todd said the price is getting out of control :grr:

The new 7th SOS patch looks pretty good, someone has it listed on Ebay. I'll be hunting it out at RIAT

Yes the 7th SOS were selling at Duxford American Air Show. Unfortunately they sold out in the first hour. I got there about 10 min too late but luckily a good buddy of mine got me one. They only brought 40 and sold them for 5£ each. They haven't been corrupted by the Lakenheath effect yet! Anyway here is the Cosford haul. Like I said there wasn't much on offer.

Nice selection Todd, especially the Belgian stuff. Shame the Belgian Alouette III crew weren't selling. Been after one of their patches for a while, but every time they appear online they go for a premium

Decent selection of patches on sale at VL yesterday, will post a shot once Flickr has stopped playing up- managed to pick up:

1. Leeuwarden AFB 322 Squadron 'Bear Hunters' Patch
2. 11 Flotille (Rafale) Inherent Resolve Patch
3. Frisian Flag 2016 Patch (Leeuwarden, 322 Squadron)
4. Belgian 1 Squadron patch

Looking forward to RIAT next weekend, should manage to pick up a nice selection!

Here's my haul from Yeovilton. Wanted a Polish Bryza patch but they wanted £15 which I couldn't stomach.

Nice pickups Ben. And yes the Polish M28 guys were charging those prices last year at RIAT. They had a lot on the table as they were not selling many. You would think they would understand that they would make more money if they sold more patches at a lower price!
