Revell 1/48th F-15E

Post by PaulN » Wed May 25, 2016 8:20 am

Hi All

Just finished this after a bit of a long haul... 3 weeks  ......was going to be 91-0604 straight from the "Tiger Meet" issue ... beautifully printed sheet for the LN special , but poor quality when using then :grr: far too thick , so decided to go with with the 335th FS COs bird fron Seymour Johnson AFB NC using the Two Bobs sheet combined with an Academy sheet

Not a bad kit with some nice detail and for £9.99 from when Model Zone closed down ..a bargain

Xtracolor enamels and Alclad used throughout

Thanks for looking

Paul :thumb:

Thank you very much guys

Cockpit could be better I rushed it , nice detail in the Revell kit though :thumb:

Exhausts done using various shades of Paulclad and gloss white , then lightley sprayed with matt black , glad you like the effect :thumb:

Thanks again
