Re: Heli-sheds
Wildcat ZZ388 was present in the left shed this morning plus one other.
Re: Heli-sheds
The right shed was empty this morning and the AH64 had definitely gone. AH-64 ZJ178 was offloaded from an inbound C-17 this afternoon and has taken up residence in the right shed.
Re: Heli-sheds
A yet to be identified Puma has taken up residence in the right shed yesterday

Re: Heli-sheds
Apache ZJ178 arrived in the sheds on Saturday (off a C17), it was pulled out the LH shed on monday and appeared to have been rebuilt.
Re: Heli-sheds
Anybody know what the Gazelle was which came out of the sheds today?
Re: Heli-sheds
I believe a BATUS one is due to go to Canada, it was roaded out of Middle Wallop late last week. Was it in the normal green/grey or in green/sand/dayglo?

and a couple of lynx ah9s going out as well, busy week for the heli-sheds

Re: Heli-sheds
Lynx Mk 9 ZG915 & 919 in the left shed today. Parked opposite the open right shed this afternoon were 3 x AH64's which I am told were ZJ173, 227 and 233 although I did not read them off myself.

Re: Heli-sheds
Can anyone confirm the serials, please?
...perhaps they should be ZJ173, ZJ233 and ZJ227?
Note: ZJ173 was noted in storage at Wattisham, Jun2016.

Re: Heli-sheds
Having seen the AH64's first hand today I can confirm that the serials are 183, 227 and 233.

Re: Heli-sheds
Apache 233 departed on RR6694 yesterday (Wed 6th) and the other two should have left on RR6674 today at 1400L
in the LHS is the BATUS Gazelle that arrived the other day but i couldnt read the serial as the shed was locked
i suspect that will leave shortly on a low loader, if i hear anything i will post in the heads up section for the benefit of the number crunchers
next movement i know of is a chinook arriving from El Centro on the 10th July on RR6695 at around 0020z
be lucky
