First post on here for some time. Tuesday and Wednesday of this week saw a return to the Mach Loop after some seven years. Started Tuesday at the Bwlch Exit which was a first for me so spirits were high! We had a 41 Sqn GR4 through in the morning followed by a single Hawk T2 at around 11ish. After that the snow, wind, and general discomfort set in for a couple of hours until the classic shout of 'Wheeeeyyyuppppp' from further up the shelf signified that something was about to happen.
Sure enough the Belgians rocked up with three of their Falcons from Marham. They were quite high at first and did a couple of passes before heading back to Marham. After that the weather set in again for some 3-4 hours with no movements to speak of. Then the good old USAF broke the silence with 2 Strike Eagles, 1 F-15C and 2 Raptors. Couldn't believe our luck! Unfortunately the light at the Bwlch wasn't great for the Americans but it didn't matter, getting to see such a rare happening that some thought just wouldn't happen was unforgettable. Thanks Lakenheath!!! After all the excitement courtesy of the USAF, the Belgians returned nice and low with two more F-16s. They brought the light with them as well

So, just the two for now but more will be added! Kudos to everyone on Cad West, seen some stunning images

Thanks!
