MASDC March 1984 Part 1

Post by PaulN » Mon Feb 29, 2016 2:09 pm

Hi

Or another title could be "Lumps of metal in a field in Arizona"

A few from the air in this set including the operational ramp ...more in a later part

Not much else to say really hope you have fun spotting the different types :)

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul :P

I never cease to be amazed, nor fed up with, seeing just what is on the ground there :thumb:

B-U-T :O

What the Donald Duck are those 'Hogs doing there, when they should be in the air, where they belong :Wow:

Thanks

Paddyboy

What do they do with all that stuff? Spares, mothballed or just waiting to be scrapped?

Some are scrapped (as there's a huge amount of cash to be made from certain materials), some are returned to service and some are sold abroad.

But mostly scrapped. :(

That looks awfully familiar ;) We did it November '83, happy memories, not got that far in my scanning yet!
