The badge is a tribute to the crew of C-12C (78-23135) called "Red Handed 56" which crashed in Afghanistan on October 13th, 2009. The aircraft crashed while on a counter-narcoterrorism operation in Nuristan province. It was found 7 days later.

It was previously given the civilian registration N898RJ, has been through Prestwick a number of times in the past. Must have been recently repainted and reregistered.

Interesting, nice tribute, couldn't find anything on that. Also appears the aircraft is just designated as a Beech 300 (with N898RJ still officially assigned).
