I think the F3 was the flat top fins, could be wrong thou, its late :lol: .

As a former RAF Gutersloh bod (1970-72) I very sadly have to say RIP, she did not deserve such a lingering death :(

F2A: the best of the best (IMHO) :thumb:

Upgraded engines; flat-top fin; enlarged tank; Firestreaks; and GUNS :lol:

Let's hope she gets the TLC she deserves ;)

Great to see that the cockpit has been salvaged and looks like they're doing an excellent job. Fond memories of looking out for her on the A1.

Chatting to a friend at the Heathrow yesterday (Tony aka Columbo aka the Fat whore) who has been swatting up on Lightnings. He said the the only kill a attributed to a lightning was a.....


RAF Harrier !
