Does anybody know if Indian Air force C-17's show on Flightradar 24. Should get a head up if they are coming out of Athens.
But are they scheduled as due at Coningsby ? Can CBY handle C-17s around the base given where the AWACS are parked ?

Denzil, what's the rush? Has it got to be specifically arrivals? These guys are going to be deployed at Conny for a fortnight, departing on the 3rd Aug. Why not just wait until the rubber's actually slapped the tarmac? You can then pick and choose a day at your leisure (in the meantime enjoy those P-1's at RIAT) ;)

As 'roughcutter' has said, if you need to book time off work and organise travel then I would wait until they have actually arrived before planning anything. These are Military movements (over a long distance) not scheduled Civil, and in alot of cases times don't exist until the day. How would you feel if I said be there on Thursday at 1300hrs only for the jets to be held up 24hrs in the UAE/Greece due to dilpomatic or mechanical issues.

The day/time mentioned above is used as an example and not some cryptic clue

Good advice to follow, with rumours of Thursday afternoon and early Friday morning going around the above is good advice.

Are they operating out of HAS or from the hangar area?

(I hope its not HAS as with my luck there is always one that doesn't come out)

Thats alright for the number cruncher, but for the photographers I hope they operate from the HAS as last time anything juicy was in, a typhoon led them out from the North side
and it put heat haze for the 2nd jet aircraft lol

Been having a nosy around the Med on PP throughout the day, not seen anything Indian on there. Not sure if the IL78 show though
