Unfortunately there were no photographers to capture your image in the 146. hope you had a pleasant flight home. However if you scroll down to current military photography you will find some superb images of the three Typhoons captured by Mickey S when they arrived at EGNO yesterday.

15.20 41 Sqd Typhoons Apollo 1 & 3 rotated dry from 25 followed at 15.30pm by the other 41 SQ Typhoon Apollo 2 again a dry rotation from R 25 RTB CBY.

Apollo called upon 339.250 and when air born switched to 341.775.

As the Typhoons were warming up a R.S.A.F. C 130 Hercules landed and is now parked up on cargo.
The flight I wanted photographing turned out to have added interest (apart from being my first flight in a 146), as a stand-in 146 was used - G-RAJJ from Cello Aviation. Amazing interior! (this exact aircraft carried the Queen on her state visit to Ireland in 2011)

Just leaving a committee meeting of Avro Lancashire which was being held in the Lightning Club at Warton, when a Typhoon rotated dry off 07 just 10 minutes
later than last night at 21.55pm, no other details known

Log for 21.5.15. One Typhoon Flight AM ZK 386.

One Flight PM Typhoon IPA 1 ZJ 699 As Gunfighter changed to Target. rotated from R 25 30 seconds after Falcon 20 as Target G.FRAW. meeting up with a 41 SQ Typhoon Rebel 62 for trials.

22.00 hrs 21/5/15 Just heard Tarnish 5 on stud 6 speaking to another aircraft, I'm assuming its the 41 Sq Typhoon Pilot that was involved in trials this afternoon.

At 17.20pm today Saturday 23rd, May, I was approaching Kirkham when I heard what I first thought was a Wokka, but it turned out to be Mr Connolly's Huey followed
closely by the Loach, both landed at Wesham.
