Just a quick question, I have seen the comings and going of a few Joint Warrior participants over the years but never has it got to the week of arrivals and nobody has mentioned the arrival dates etc, now I know people in the know will already know so I wonder, is the lack of information down to people keeping the info too themselves, or is it that people don't geniunly know ??

By logic I think they are arriving Thursday. Crew briefings are first thing on Friday morning.

Posted elsewhere there's information that a Turkish Hercules will be arriving at 9:45 am and then two C-160s later at 1:00 and 3:00PM. Only just found this out - hence the delayed reply and have also been scouting for info for a long time!
Hope the F-16s arrive tomorrow but no confirmation as of yet.
I also believe there's 3 HH-60s still at Leeming. Would be nice to see; and out of curiosity who will be at Leeming tomorrow?

Popped in today and 2 HH-60's landed to make 3 which was around 17:30. Does anyone know if they are there for the exercise? I will be popping down tomorrow for the morning before I go to work.

HH60s should be heading to Lossie at some point for the exercise duration.

Whether it is connected only a few hours will tell, but TUAF912 at FL200 is currently showing on FR24 just passed abeam of Bucharest, Romania. Unfortunately unable to translate the shown Hexcode of 4B8261 into a specific aircraft.

F-16s arrived about 1315 and parked up on the Exercise ramp in front of the HAS site, easily visible in front of the car park.

F-16Cs 88-0034, 89-0025, 91-0018
F-16Ds 91-0022, 92-0024

All 191 Filo with large Cobra badge on fin.

Also present C-130E 33186 and C-160D 032. A further C-160 was expected about 1500 and to be 033.

Additionally two LN coded HH-60s near 100 Sqns ramp. I was told the FT coded one had departed earlier in the morning.

The Turkish stars display team was the latest C-160. Very nice to see and a great delight!
