32 Sqn doing their carrier qualifications (well - sort of!!)

A nice and unusual visitor to London City Airport (which has the look & feel of an aircraft carrier landing if you squint hard enough!) this afternoon was 32Sqn B146 C3 ZE708 - it made an approach & landing then taxied back to depart.

Sadly the shots were from some distance away through triple-glazed glass so far from perfect but included for the record.

Nice catch - word is, that having been a UOR for Afghanistan, these have been brought into core to supplement the existing two on retirement of the 125s - hence why ther are doing training flights to lots of UK airports.

Thanks for the info - had seen they had been busy - I think this is a 1st visit to LCY by either aircraft.
