I should imagine they are for the new BAE Academy at Humberside Airport.

If it's a one-flight pass, I'd imagine they'd be staying?

It is a one way flight. They are heading up there for the new BAE academy and they will be used for forward training. They will remain in a taxiable state once up there

The first is scheduled to depart Kemble at 10:30(ish). This is subject to weather etc...

Any news on these delivery flights?

Two interesting loads (dark coloured fuselage one lorry followed by second lorry with wing set) reported heading north on the A46 past NAM this morning - no formal i.d. though! :S

Howard, are you sure it was dark? A civilian ATR-42 should be heading in that general direction (though I don't know its final destination!) but that is white in colour.

I was only passing on what I was told (asked) by a member of staff who encountered them close to the A46 / A1133, I didn't see the loads myself - just passing on info and asking a question in my mind! :pop:

Addendum - definitely reported as dark in colour!

The ATR is just a fuselage.

WX not great at Kemble so suspect they might be scrubbed today.

Hunter XF995 left Boscombe Down Wednesday/Thursday, after her year away, on three lorries (fuselage, wings and under-wing tanks) for her trip back home to HHA at Scampton, this might be your one?

That could well be what was seen this morning - thank you for providing the feedback, which has helped settle my over active thought processes! :)

Another thought! Any news on the proposed delivery flights?

The flight today was scrubbed due to weather. The plan is now to fly tomorrow, again weather depending. The weather tody was not good enough for VFR flying.
