Saw John Otway last night, on top form as ever. He's got a few gigs coming up and a campaign for a Christmas no.1, if you like good music and a laugh go and see him.

Going to see Alfie Boe at the Leeds Arena on Friday. Not really my music taste but Mrs P likes him. Have seen him before though and he was excellent. He's a big Led Zep fan and has recorded with Robert Plant - came as a bit of a surprise when we saw him last and he performed 'Kashmir'. Mrs P also bought me Foo Fighters - Sonic Highways for a recent birthday but not had the chance to listen to the CD yet.

Going to see my daughter in "Annie" in a couple of weeks. She takes second lead. Not bad for her first term at 'big school'

All my kids have done school musicals, aside from being fun they boost the kids confidence no end and should be encouraged and supported.

Got tickets to U2's iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2015 at The O2  so happy, one of the bands that's been on my to see list for a long time.

Also went to see The Human League on Tuesday at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall. Was a brilliant 80 mins of entertainment with lots of over excited middle age women in the audience

We went to see my daughter in "Annie" last night. Tears in the eyes , lump in the throat, and that was just when I paid forty quid for 10 tickets!................. :P

She was absolutely brilliant, so much better than I really expected, and the Father in Law and I were really in tears at the end!

gigs coming up are Lower Than Atlantis and Matt Berry both at Tunbridge Wells Forum, I saw Matt Berry twice last year, if you like 60's psychedelic twinged pop or just a good time he's well worth seeing. Also Dreadzone yet again, this time at Brighton Concorde 2. Suppoort your local venues.

Matt Berry at Tunbridge Wells Forum tonight, saw him twice on the last tour, excellent 60s style psychedelic pop with comedy asides between songs.
