Re: A400 Atlas spotted
This is why so many SW members left the forum, this should have been posted in the "Heads up/OTT" section.
This section is for airfield movements in the SW, not for aircraft flying over the area.

Re: A400 Atlas spotted
You are the main reason why so many SW members have left the forum Mike,when are you going to get it into your head that you're not a moderator?!!! For goodness sake give it a rest before you cost this forum anymore valuable contributors. It's the members who live outside the SW that like to follow what's going on that'll miss out,not the SW enthusiasts themselves.Mike wrote:This is why so many SW members left the forum, this should have been posted in the "Heads up/OTT" section.

Re: A400 Atlas spotted
People left the forum because they felt victimised by certain members and that the moderation was focused on them when other areas were let off. They were supportive of movements over the SW being posted here because that's where they would be seen by people who actually live here.Mike wrote:This is why so many SW members left the forum, this should have been posted in the "Heads up/OTT" section.
It did multiple approaches into Newquay, as well as a touch and go, so it was an airfield movement and was even quoted as being in the circuit in the original post.Mike wrote:This section is for airfield movements in the SW, not for aircraft flying over the area.
Re: A400 Atlas spotted
its also a shame when people cant even get the name of an airport right "St Mawgan" hasn't existed as an airfield since 2007 its Newquay now EGHQ not "EGDG"
and since when has an OTT been an aircraft touching the ground?

Re: A400 Atlas spotted
You're quite correct phat01 but I think to the old school Cornish boys it will always be looked upon as St.Mawgan.

Re: A400 Atlas spotted
The original post didn't mention that the A400M actually did a touch and go, it says "circuiting". !
Re: A400 Atlas spotted
We get Cobham Falcons circuiting Culdrose on an almost weekly basis so by your logic this should be reported in the OTT section then?!!
Re: A400 Atlas spotted
i know lol been spotting there for many years aswell
circuiting = visual circuits
circuiting = racing around a track ohh like visual circuits
circuiting = going around
even if it was 2500ft in the hold it still aint OTT
if someone picking holes i might as well lol
