I challenge you to grow up.MrBrownHands wrote:I challenge anyone to factually disprove anything I've written. No-one has so far without having to resort to their own opinion.
Of course, derogatory messages aimed at a username choice will go completely unnoticed amongst the echelons of FC hierarchy.
"Ha ha, his name is MrBrownHands, let's make fun of all of that now because I'm unable to match this person intellectually and provide a decent discussion".
Pathetic.
"We designed the Lanc so nobody else deserves to have one," is the biggest bit of verbal diarrhoea I've read in a long time. It doesn't need disproving, it needs ridiculing.

Don't be silly. Airwolf has a one-legged pilot whose alcohol has a smidgin of blood in it. There's no hope he could put in a display in that condition. Douglas Bader he is not!andrew b wrote:Here is mine then.

Just kidding
But would like some heavy hardware like b-52 b-1b b-2 c-5 etc and would love to see an su-34 f-4

Re: RIAT 2015 Wishlist
You seem to ignore the fact is that the CWHN Lancaster may be a British design, but the airframe you are calling to return to its rightful home was actually born and bred in Canada spending its entire operating life within the RCAF. With 13 Squadrons operating them (largest number after the RAF) their contribution to the efforts of Bomber command was significant. It is therefore right that they still maintain and operate an airframe of the type.MrBrownHands wrote:The purpose of keeping aircraft like the Lancaster flying is for the enjoyment of the public, as well as providing an avenue of stepping back in time and admiring the quality of BRITISH engineering.
Of course, had there still been a plethora of existing Lancasters still flying then I would have no issue with Canada retaining one. You don't see me asking for the return of all the Hunters, Spitfires and other British-made aircraft.
Learn to read.
But that aside, as has rightfully been pointed out, this topic is for the RIAT 2015 wishlist and not an argument over Canada continuing to own and operate a Lancaster.
Therefore, back on topic please everyone

Re: RIAT 2015 Wishlist
A very strong U.S showing would be my number one choice. Also any aircraft type that's running to the end of its service life, and maybe we'll never see again. Turkish F-4's for example.

A pair of "Canadian" A-4's...

Everyone has a photographic memory; some just don't have film.
Re: RIAT 2015 Wishlist
Think I've seen that the Apache Demo Team may be planning a pair of AH64's and more Pyro's for RIAT 2015.
Now that I would like to see.

Re: RIAT 2015 Wishlist
Given that one of the Themes is "75th Battle of Britain", I'll go for...
A Balbo
with as many Spitfires, Hurricanes, Me109s etc flying past at 200 feet.
Synchronised with...
A Balbo
of Fast jet types from all Air Arms whose pilots took part on either side, flying past at 300 feet.
I'm thinking Polish Mig29/F-16, Czech & SA JAS39, Canadian & Australian F-18, Belgian F-16, French M2K/Rafale, German Tonka/Eufi, USAF F-15 etc. A full list of "foreigners" involved here :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-Britis ... of_Britain
Synchronised with,...
A Balbo
of UK and German squadrons whose lineage includes some claim to participation in the BoB flying past at 400 feet.
All immediately after the lunch hour, and all taking off from Fairford.
