I believe they've put it into or behind one the KC-135 hangars... so it's not visable.Spirit of Kitty Hawk wrote:Has anyone actually eye balled the serial on the C-32? Checking its history its had a sneeky re-paint & used to be 00-9001
And the other serial as well.02-5001 indeed a "Sneaky Beaky"Spirit of Kitty Hawk wrote:Has anyone actually eye balled the serial on the C-32? Checking its history its had a sneeky re-paint & used to be 00-9001
Then immediately hangard and kept very quiet.....BOLLO wrote:Seems he did an approach here then climbed out and departed to FFD,strange.
99-6143 is 00-9001, its been out of the loop since August, enough time for a change of serial, as to the reason why, who knows?Spirit of Kitty Hawk wrote:Has anyone actually eye balled the serial on the C-32? Checking its history its had a sneeky re-paint & used to be 00-9001

My thoughts to Mike were that it had a problem, Mildenhall didnt want to black the runway, so sent it to its diversion, which normally would be Brize, but due the Dragons swopping over, they had Fairford.Razor61 wrote:or it's just broke... and hangarage wasn't available at Mildenhall at the time.
99-6143 was based at Eglin AFB several years ago according to a well respected monitor in Florida (Al Stern)...
There is a very strong rumour that the USAF has four C-32Bs but only use two at any one time (now based at McGuire AFB and under Special Operations Flight command....under the guise of the 108th refuelling wing). Not sure if the number of airframes bit is true but it would tally up with having four USAF serials for the C-32Bs and why people only see two serials in use at any one time.
Not to be confused with the Comco B757 which are Government registered (N plates)... and with a different mission profile of which there are two of...also.
