Aircraft Arrivals

Post by Ontheflightpath » Fri Jun 27, 2014 11:33 pm

RAF Fairford: Either on Sunday 29th or Monday 30th June there will be arrivals of US aircraft, (they are not sure which date). Site 15 open as a car park and Gate 7 open for pedestrians to view the aircraft on the Kempsford to Whelford Road. Openings will co-incide with aircraft arrivals. Police will be on duty. Free parking but times are not known at present. Sounds as if it's on a first come first served basis. That is all the info at the moment.

Update : It is the F35s arriving for RIAT (Here for three weeks)

The above info was issued by RAF Fairford on Friday (locally). I put it on here to give you a chance to get organised to come and see it.

Enjoy

Rumours on twitter indicating that a support aircraft may arrive tomorrow, with the f35s arriving on Monday. Not long now!
