Hi,

I've never been to this show before and I am available on Sunday. Can anyone recommend a good watching/photo spot?

Regards,

Nige

The Centre point of the display line is the Old Tropicana Pool.
best place for the Breaks by the teams.

Take a Look at the Site Map and the Building near the First aid Centre is the Centre Point of the Display line.

Thanks for the location info. Another quick question, is there a dedicated frequency for the airshow and if so, what is it?

Todays Show Review

HIGH POINTS
Red Arrows Display (Brilliant Display as always with an amazing tail scheme)
RAF BBMF Dakota (Haven't seen it for a long time)
AAC Lynx Display (It still impresses me every time I see it)
RAF Squirrel Landing on the beach (The sand cloud was great)

Low Points
SA Bulldog T1 (Unfortunately it got a bit lost at a big airshow venue like Weston)

Agree on all your Points and i would say The Canberra Display was great as well.

Day Two Tomorrow and there are more teams - RV8tors, Breitling Wingwalkers, Girl Power Pitts, and of Coarse more jet power with The Venom and Vulcan Joining the Display.

The Reds were also great at the airport too! Only got a fleeting glimpse if the Canberra but with SallyB, BBMF, Tucano and the Reds it was well worth it. And the Pitts and Tutor pseudo displays at the airport were amusing too. Thanks to Bristol Airport for supporting this great new event!

Hi,

Thanks for the info, I'll put it into my radio for tomorrow. I doubt they'd change it overnight, but you never know.

I shall be out looking today as I had the Canberra and Reds fly over my house yesterday so a fairly successful day.
