No, the B-2s are "Death 11 & 12".

As far as I know there haven't been any B52's in the air today.
Death 11 and 12 have come across from the US, routing up from Lands End is my understanding.

The 1st post in that thread said they were in the climb - they climbed slightly before coming off the ocean. Some people have read that thinking they were in the climb out of Fairford.

Yes.. but the very first post said Death 11&12 in the CLIMB on 278.600. So it would seem this was the B52 CLIMBING out of Fairford. ??! If someone had said before that no B52 had departed , it might have made things a little clearer! Oh well fun over for one day.

I spoke to the flight crew earlier- they will be flying every day this week but I don't know when they will leave.

Does anyone know where they shelter both B2's? As far as i know there is only 1 climatised shelter for a B2 at Fairford

Cheers, rob

Northside (near the Firestation) there are two climate controlled hangars for the storage of the B-2's. You're probably referring to the Low Observability Maintenance hangar (like a big dome) which is south side.

There's two side by side on the North side.
