As far as I know there haven't been any B52's in the air today.buzzer wrote:So how come death 11&12 just departed and returned to Fairford? ! viewtopic.php?f=8&t=98937Mike wrote:No, the B-2s are "Death 11 & 12".baz1 wrote:so we have death 11/12 B52 airborn and B2s on the way using the same c/s strange one
Death 11 and 12 have come across from the US, routing up from Lands End is my understanding.

Have you actually read that thread?buzzer wrote: So how come death 11&12 just departed and returned to Fairford? ! viewtopic.php?f=8&t=98937
Re: Exercise Sabre Strike - Advanced Info/Discussion
The 1st post in that thread said they were in the climb - they climbed slightly before coming off the ocean. Some people have read that thinking they were in the climb out of Fairford.GreenBat wrote:Have you actually read that thread?buzzer wrote: So how come death 11&12 just departed and returned to Fairford? ! viewtopic.php?f=8&t=98937
Re: Exercise Sabre Strike - Advanced Info/Discussion
Yes.. but the very first post said Death 11&12 in the CLIMB on 278.600. So it would seem this was the B52 CLIMBING out of Fairford. ??! If someone had said before that no B52 had departed , it might have made things a little clearer! Oh well fun over for one day.GreenBat wrote:Have you actually read that thread?buzzer wrote: So how come death 11&12 just departed and returned to Fairford? ! viewtopic.php?f=8&t=98937

I spoke to the flight crew earlier- they will be flying every day this week but I don't know when they will leave.
Re: Exercise Sabre Strike - Advanced Info/Discussion
Does anyone know where they shelter both B2's? As far as i know there is only 1 climatised shelter for a B2 at Fairford

Re: Exercise Sabre Strike - Advanced Info/Discussion
Northside (near the Firestation) there are two climate controlled hangars for the storage of the B-2's. You're probably referring to the Low Observability Maintenance hangar (like a big dome) which is south side.robiban wrote:Does anyone know where they shelter both B2's?
