Sorry if this question is stupid but when they are night flying is there any daytime activity at all because that was going to be mine and my daughters first visit this year and having told her they are night flying I've got one unhappy 11 year old !

In the past other Sqds that are not night flying still operate, although they might start flying a little bit later. I wouldn't let it put you off not going.

No - don't let night flying put you off, I'm over for a couple of day's that week. Would suggest 11am ish, it's great seeing them in the dark, so if you can stop until late evening do so.

Night flying has no set take off time mate

I try attend 3-4 times a year, they go out at various times

Location depends on what end they are using, best togging spot is the 07 end, but this time of year anything after pitch dark is ny impossible to photograph well
