Area 51 Experimental aircraft?

Post by The_Edge » Tue Dec 31, 2013 12:15 pm

Hi Guys,
I stumbled across this http://youtu.be/bwgJLxdHoyg

Seems the US are testing something in the desert.. I'm wondering if it was a Globalhawk though..silent?
But who knows?

Testing of the SR-72 seems to be going well

Regards

Gary

It's a normal plane.... the conspiracy black triangle theorists even thought the line of aircraft approaching Los Angeles Intl were black programmes because the planes had lights in a triangular form, like umm, pretty much all aircraft do at night. Don't get drawn in.....
Another year, another round of.....

It is very difficult to see what aircraft it is from the film. It could be a normal aircraft, or it could be an experimental type, who knows?

I'm certain though that there must be highly advanced test aircraft within the Groom Lake area of which we have no knowledge. If there wasn't then there must be something seriously wrong as technology is always making progress & not standing still.

And there's plenty more where that came from!

More you tube Tosh..... This guy says he couldn't see an "N" number.... well what a surprise, what chance would you have of seeing a aircraft reg in near darkness and with his average quality video camera which couldn't even show the car registration plates in his street in bright daylight!
I can see nothing of interest at all in this video!

I'm not going to bother losing 11 minutes from my life by watching that tosh, since when did US military aircraft have N-numbers anyway?

Highly unlikely they would choose to make an emergency diversion to Kingman GAP in the first place, when you have Nellis and Luke close by . To those of you that have not been there you could compare Kingman to the likes of Lasham in Hampshire.

With the exception Kingman has a ruddy huge runway and lots of hangarage, yeah :P (Oh, and it doesn't rain as often!)

It has a sizable runway at 6800ft which certainly wouldn't be classed as "ruddy huge", and the only hangars there that are worthy of mention are 2 at the RW 21 end which belong to a scrap merchant and 1 other at the RW03 which is actually a museum, everything else is sun sheds.

Probably just the RQ-180 which is a black project we know about.

Don't be fooled by the likes of 'DarkSkyWatcher74'. Some people just need to create an audience for themselves. They know that the aviation lights that they film are perfectly routine but they crave the attention. Check out this chap in the UK filming practically every night in Kings Lynn. He even has the cheek to ask for donations on video and his website to fund his cameras. You Tube is full of these types.

You can even see the afterburners in some of the shots but as long as he calls them 'Antaran Batwings' he know that he will get the attention and donations. No doubt he has a scanner monitoring Marham or Lakenheath for night flying and all he has to do is step outside to film for his regular audience!

I note he has stated "all negative comments will be deleted".... I wonder why, maybe because they reveal him as a fake. Disgusting that he won't even allow you to discuss it properly!!

As for this Area 51 nonsense (well I was quite interested when I first saw the thread as the base is a huge interest of mine) it is ridiculously clear it is just a normal aircraft, most likely as stated before an F-18.

You're right! God knows where I was thinking about then!

If he was able to state with confidence that this was an Antarean Batwing, how can it be an "Unidentified" Flying Object?
He should have been at Valley on 11th December when they had 13 Antarean Batwing weather diverts.

In the late 90's we drove up to Area 51 from Vegas for the day, then drove down the track to the no go notices.
Was just about to leave when we heard the most awesome rumble of jet engines from over the ridge where the base is.
Must have lasted for about a minute,it really felt like an earthquake.
Never heard an engine sound has powerful has that before.
Anyway we drove off after that, not before nearly being run off the road by some blokes in a blacked out 4x4.
Good times.
