Group builds?

Post by viper3111 » Thu Apr 22, 2010 1:38 pm

Hi all,

I have been looking on a few other sites and they do group builds, so I was wondering if any one would be interested?

It would be purley for fun and we can choose the theme between us and then all have a go at a 'group build' that we could do as a 'WIP'. So its not a club just FCers building to a theme and showing our work on the forum.

So what I would like to know is any one interested?
If there is enough interest we can sort something out, possibly even an FCers model section get together at a show or museum at some point in the future.
Sudgestions welcome :thumb:

People seem to be showing an interest so I will look at getting it started.

Now all I need is some ideas, so what im after is;

1) Themes - These could be 'what if's', WWII, WWI, Vietnam, Lakenheath, Mildenhall, Brize etc
2) Scale - Which scale 144th, 72nd, 48th, 32nd, 24th
3) types - Props, Jets, Helo's etc
4) kits - Could be we all do different variants of a particular kit like the Tamiya spit or kinetic F-16

All ideas welcome as it is a group build so it would be good for us to do something every one can enjoy. We can all vote on it if need be.

We will then just do it as seperate WIP's with a gallery for the finished 'group build'
