A Brize Norton farewell to VC-10

Post by Sylvester » Tue Oct 01, 2013 12:27 am

A few late shots from the end of VC-10 enthusiasts day at Brize Norton on the 22nd September. A superbly smooth and well sponsored and organised by the office commanding 216 Squadron and hosted by 99 & 101 squadrons. Their hospitality and generosity in facilitating access to their aircraft was second to none.
Just a sad day to see these great British aircraft leave our skies for good and the crews moving on to pastures new.

An overcast start to the day made for some dramatic skies, whith a few shafts of sun light saving a few of the exterior shots during the afternoon

It's a great set :thumb:

Could be just my useless ol' mince pies, but the colours on the cockpit shots seem a bit 'sudden' or 'in your face' :S

Could be just me, of course

Super post, though

Best regards
