I am just wondering if anyone could tell me if either RAF Leeming or Linton-on-ouse is a good place for spotting?

Maybe you should check-out the relevant sections for this (and your previous post regarding Marham). All the information you need is in the Linton, Leeming and Marham sections - maps, spotting locations, frequencies etc. - it's all there already.

Careful those animals in red suits are DANGEROUS for the public, please keep away from the fence. If they reach for a pencil through the fence, step back quickly.

These two will be near 30 ish by now. At the time I had to laugh as I thought it a great way to restrain excitable young spotters.Just look at the one on the left and it looks like
like his left hand is gesturing,as to his thoughts about the situation.. this other one from the early 90s shows the perks young lady spotters get,no problems interviewing these pilots..
