US Helicopters LHR 7/8 June 1982

I was looking to fill a gap in my logs for the US Helicopters used to transport President Reagan & co from LHR to Central London on 7/8th June 1982.

I can only supply VH-3A 159360 "1" of HMX-1 that I saw on Wed 2 June 1982 en route to Northolt over West Drayton. Perhaps a BAR or WLAG subscriber at the time can help with the others (two?).

Additional visitors (probably connected with the visit) that I noted in Northolt on Sunday 6th evening were

The E-4A was 31677 in Mildenhall. Also (64-)14863 HC-130H of 301 ARRS was there.

BAR reported the 2 VH-3D's present at Northolt 1st to the 10th were 159357/2 and 159360/1. Also states they were mostly hangared until the 7th.
