Props in formation

Post by 22A » Fri Nov 02, 2012 6:45 pm

I had to get up to my daughter last night. Between 01.05 & 01.15 Friday 2nd November a number of multi engined propellor a/c flew over Peterborough.
I looked through the window and could see quite a few nav/anti collision lights heading South.

Anyone able to id what I heard/saw please?

I've now spoken to others. Those a/c flew over Huntingdon on their way South from P'boro'.
Not a ghost squadron from WW2 surely?

Thanks for your info Gordon, but it looked & soundled like more than 2 a/c.
As they were over P'boro at 01.05 and then Hunts, surely they would not have reached Mildenhall for 01.08?
