:clap: Don't know where the Dutch exercise will be based though?

EXERCISE TAC BLAZE - 29 OCT - 9 NOVEMBER 12

This is a small exercise by the RNLAF DHC taking place in Spadeadam, LFA 12,13,16 and 17 from 0800 - 2200hrs. There will be up to eight Rotary Wing aircraft participating in the exercise.

EXERCISE LIGHTNING FORCE 26 NOV - 14 DECEMBER 12

This is a small scale exercise of up to 8 Apache helicopters operating from RAF Leeming during daylight hours to 0130hrs. There will be weekend activity both day and night.Aircraft will be operating in LFA 11,12,13 and 17.

Bugga looks like i will be stuck with the Ugly callsigns then. dont know about the rumoured f16 deployment nothing on notams or low level sites as yet :'(

Tac Blaze is held at Spadeadam with the Dutch army holed up at Carlisle airport and its been going a good few years now latest I heard is that there will be 3 Chinook and 1 cougar... other reports suggest 6 f16's 8 Apache 2 NH90 2 C130 hercs and some other bits but I think we are dreaming if that lot will show up

EXERCISE LIGHTNING FORCE is also held once a year and year it was at Leeming... car park gets gate closed LOL

Dutch have arrived at Carlisle and set up Camp, Ex starts Monday for two weeks using Spadeadam and Warcop.

2 of the H47'S are D-666 D-106 GRZLY 23/54 operating at this time around warcop range . Very impressive.

4x Apache have just transit along the west of York - look to be following the A1.
