Anyone heading to Cardiff to catch her there?? Don't know whether the best pace would be Cardiff or St Athan

B3n,I'm going to Cardiff to see it but St Athan is a nightmare to park, I think I will make my way to the Highwayman Inn at Fonmon, that way you should have a view of the plane and a pint to boot.

It possibly is, they have said they won't give spot timings because of factors outside their control - however they have given t/o and landing times.

Vulcan effect very evident here at Cov airport.

Very disappointing pass over Cottesmore wasn't over the runway at all and very high up 3000 ft plus. Not sure why they bothered in all honesty was hoping for a nice low pass in line with the runway people waiting at the south end didn't even see it.

Edit: Apparantly Cottesmore was NOTAM from this morning stopping all aircraft overflying the runway by 2NM not the best timing!

I came to the airport via Bubbenhall and yes the south side was rammed, went home via the the Museum side and that was rammed also.

friend of mine popped round who had just come back from Knowle near Birmingham, he said it was gridlock along the lanes and surrounding area of Knowle.
good call by VTTS, lots of media coverage seen by many people, so good call flying over the Industrial heartland of the country.
