Saw The Legendary Shack Shakers at Camden Underworld the other week, brilliantly mad, got Dreadzone in a few weeks in Sevenoaks, Wilko Johnson and Robert Plant booked, and a few festivals. It's live that does it for me.

Saw Bellowhead at a festival in August, and last year a few times, excellent live band. Seeing Mama Rosin next month, Swiss Cajun band, it works.

Saw PiL at a festival in the summer. Have to say I was really surprised at how good they were, the appearance on Later last night really didn't do them justice.

Went to see Radiohead at the O2 on Monday night. It was a great show, the visuals were fantastic :thumb: The only downside to the whole night was Radiohead stayed away (Like usual) from the majority of the big songs Creep, Fake Plastic Trees etc. I'm all for bands playing there new song's but come on lads throw some classics in  They played Karma Police and the whole arena went nuts.

Saw Mama Rosin at The jazz Cafe in Camden on Friday night, what an awful venue. PA was really muddy, the only place we found with half decent sound was in the corner behind a pillar so you couldn't see the stage, and the drink prices were way over the top. I shan't be going there again, but I will see Mama Rosin again.

'From £95' ?

'£375' ? Who on earth is paying that kind of money ?

My dad went to see him as well. Always wondered what it would have been like, or if people realised at the time what they were witnessing! I was listening to him this morning before work. The thought that the music was recorded 40+ years ago always amazes me. Long live Hendrix!

If you want to sit down and have dinner to some background jazz I daresay it's fine, I think the PA is really for the benefit of diners on the balcony. If you happen to be that way, The Forum in Tiunbridge Wells is really good, it's very small but pulls in some surprising names. Enjoy Muse, we had them in work for the Ross show, sounded impressive during soundcheck, but not the sort of thing I listen to. I bought one album but it just didn't click with me.
