Not that old, relatively speaking, but still nice to look at and likely no longer worn:

With the Hungarian MiG-29 fleet in retirement, this one is definitely history:

ST24--"I have to ask what's special about the Portuguese Talon, Llanbedr Meteor, Boscombe Canberra D16 and Qinetiq Alpha??"

It all depends on how interpret the word 'special'. To me,in this case, it means any aircraft that is wearing a colour scheme for a particular purpose and not just annivarsy markings or markings for a particular event, that is different from the normal standard scheme of its user.
In the case of the Canberra & Meteor (& the yellow & green Buccaneer, of which there was at least one more in this scheme,XW987, and maybe another) these are unique schemes which are not worn by any other aircraft so, to me , they are 'special' and as such belong in this topic.
Anyway, enough of being fickle, let's just keep posting and enjoy the great memories and nostagia :D

Great RNALAF F16 btw, love the angle
