I have just been to see a Band called Uncle Frank! They played classics in a rock way!

The Band I have on now as I get a after party started is Black Veil Brides!

Went to my first gig of 2012 last night. A small group called Lanterns On The Lake, they were great just a shame the gig was a little short.

Only 2 weeks till the Metallica Beyond Magnetic EP is out on CD  :thumb:

This story has just put a smile on my face
Former WWWF champion Hulk Hogan has revealed that he almost joined an early version of Metallica.

The wrestler, who stars in his own reality TV series Hogan Knows Best, said that he used to be close mates with the metal titans' drummer Lars Ulrich during his days as a session musician.

He told The Sun: "I used to be a session musician before I was a wrestler. I played bass guitar. I was big pals with Lars Ulrich and he asked me if I wanted to play bass with Metallica in their early days but it didn't work out."
Full story can be found here NME.com

"New" Metallica EP out on Monday :thumb:

I can't actually remember the last CD I bought, I think I picked up some 'cheepies' from HMV last summer - Jefferson airplane may have been one of them.

My last concert was 'The Specials' at Plymouth last October.

Just got back from seeing the Devil Wears Prada, Last Witness and Brotherhood of the Lake. Ears still haven't recovered!

Loved it all apart from the people who think it's acceptable to jump on your neck and then crash onto the stage knocking over the Vocalist and a Microphone ;) EDIT: nearly forgot... Then they jump off stage and land on you - in the process grabbing your brand new T-Shirt that you bought on the night for £20 and putting a nice rip in the collar.
