Yes, he knew his stuff alright . Referred to 558 as a Falcon & said something along the lines of the RAF calling upon the falcon for its specific strike capabilities.

See that the 'expert' on Sky was an old army major.

Quite worrying that someone like that can be so out of touch that he still thinks the RAF are flying Vulcans and also speak so matter of factly about it too!

Hi everyone

It was My Dads 78th Birthday today and he along with my Mum love the Vulcan they remember watching them scamble six at a time.

So what better Birthday present for my Dad than a trip to see the Vulcan fly.

What an afternoon it was...we were treated to take a take off at 14.35pm, returning at 16.45pm to land and hot crew change before taking off again at 17.15pm, she power climbed out in to a gentle wing over, followed by a fly past before gear down to land.

A fantastic sight to see in great weather, also met up with Galaxy 100 ( hope you didn`t burn the cow )

Mum and Dad had a great time and did not want to go home.
