Formation over Spalding Lincs 040110 @ 1330 - help

Post by brewc » Tue Jan 05, 2010 5:45 pm

Hi
Noted a formation of 3 single engined turbo prop straight wing single/twin seat aircraft - looked Tucano (ish) but only glimpsed from the office window with a small patch of sky, so gone in a flash! Wouldn't normally be so curious but unusual to see in such close formation and relatively low. Any help identifying would ease my curiosity.
Cheers

Half a dozen Tutors went into Coningsby yesterday from Wyton. Possibly some of those?

Thank you very much - didn't think they were Tucano's as they sounded quite distinctive but don't often see prop stuff over Spalding.
Cheers
